This strategic US territory doesn't quite fit the 'Tropical Paradise' mold. Sure there's sun, sand and wilderness - and the local fiestas are great. But Guam - really - is all about the duty free shopping. After all, this tiny Pacific island boasts the world's largest K-mart store, while its best beach is off limits to non-military personnel.
