This tranquil little Dutch outpost is one of the Leeward Islands' most overlooked destinations. Although it may lack glorious beaches, it also lacks hordes of tourists. Visiting the island is a bit like stepping back into the Caribbean of decades past - islanders enjoy striking up a conversation, stray chickens and goats mosey in the streets and the pace is delightfully slow.
