How can I get rid of this film on the windows in my car? |

When vinyl gets hot, it gives off plasticizer as a gas that settles on the glass as a hazy film. You can remove plasticizer from vinyl surfaces with a mixture of: 1 oz. liquid dishwashing detergent and 2 qts. warm water. Remove haze from windows with a mixture of: 4 oz. ammonia and 1 gallon cold water. Depending on the temperature in any given area, this lasts three months to one year.
