John Grasso is no stranger to instant riches. As a slot machine supervisor at Harrah's Atlantic City, he gets to deliver them all the time.
But now, the 43-year-old Hammonton man is in the money himself.
Grasso won $1 million from iWon . com , an Internet portal that gives away $10,000 daily, $1 million once a month and $10 million once a year to users.
"Usually, I pay out jackpots. It's nice to be on the other side," said Grasso, a 20-year employee of the casino.
He said he plans to keep working, but will use the money - about $40,000 a year for 20 years, before taxes - to finance his sons' education, pay off his debts and take a nice vacation.
"Through the years, I have watched so many people win enormous amounts of money. But I'm always the one who gives the money away. And now it's me, the winner. I'm still in shock," Grasso said.
His victory was announced Monday night during a television commercial for iWon.com.
