| Several local executives were winners of the Ernst & Young Southwest Connecticut/New York Hudson Valley 2000 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
They included: For E-Business, Bill Daugherty and Jonas Steinman, co-chief executives of iWon.com, an Internet portal and cash giveaway company in Irvington. In the emerging category, Bryan Murphy, chief operating officer, and Gus Conrades, chief executive, of Wrenchead.com, an auto parts web site in White Plains. In the manufacturing category, Leonard A. Trugman, chief executive of Del Global Technologies, medical imaging systems in Valhalla.
