NEW YORK - Next Model Management is - you guessed it - looking
for the "next" model.
Since she may be sitting in front of her computer at this very
moment, Next and iWon.com launched a jointly sponsored online model
search.
To enter, submit photos on iWon's Web site. The photos will then be
posted on the site with the model wannabe's first name, age, hometown,
height, shoe size, eye color, hair color and interests.
The contest is open to women ages 13 and over.
A panel of celebrity judges, including models Molly Sims and Daniela
Pestova, will review each picture and choose the "new face" for Next
Model Management. IWon users also can rate the entrants with their
rankings deciding whose photo will be featured on the home page of the
model search site each week.
The grand prize of the celebrity-judged contest is a $250,000 model
contract with four runner-ups each receiving a $100,000 modeling
contract. The grand-prize winner also will participate in a photo shoot with the possibility of landing on the cover of YM magazine.
"It is an exciting and innovative approach to help fulfill these
girls' dreams. As a result of this contest, we hope to discover what maybe the world's next supermodel," says Joel Wilkenfeld, president of Next Model Management.
Next Model Search on iWon is accepting photos through July 31. The
Web site is http://modelsearch.iwon.com/
