Snell ist schnell
Since its founding in 1938, Snell & Wilmer has grown rapidly to over 300 attorneys based in offices throughout the Western U.S. Snell is a full service law firm representing more than 6,000 clients ranging from publicly traded Fortune 500 companies to small enterprises and individual entrepreneurs.
Snell to the defense
Snell & Wilmer has developed an impressive litigation practice, which the firm breaks down into the following areas: Alternative Dispute Resolution, Appellate Services, Commercial Litigation, Construction Services, Employment Litigation, Environmental/Natural Resources Litigation, Health Care Litigation, Product Liability Litigation, Securities, and General Litigation
In one extraordinary matter (described by The Recorder in September 1999 as "the largest class action against an automaker in 20 years"), Snell was tapped by Ford to defend it from a massive suit alleging that the cars in which Ford mounted Thick Film Ignition, or TFI, modules onto the distributors were more likely to stall, and that Ford withheld this information from consumers. Snell partner Warren Platt took a leading role in the matter.
